Wedding - Natalie & Jeremy - Piedmont

Tuesday, September 2, 2008

I was fortunate last weekend to join my friend Chris of Chris Ryce Photography for a wedding at the Piedmont Community Center and Park. Chris and I met some years back in a photography class and we became friends and eventually he worked with me shooting weddings for a couple of seasons.
I was so excited to be HIS assistant/2nd photographer for a change. I love shooting as an assistant, because I am able to just relax and keep everything organized while still grabbing some amazing photos throughout the day.
Here are a few of my favorites...

I loved this photo of Natalie and Jeremy in a relaxed and casual setting...

I absolutely LOVED her dress. The details were subtle, but amazing

Grace and Jackson...my new best friends.

I'm not usually a big fan of cake, but this one smelled DELICIOUS !!!

The ceremony, which took place inside the hall.

There was this great old stairway in the back of the hall. They were doing some construction around this area of the park, but the light was amazing, so we just went for it.

The reception in the courtyard...

First dance as husband and wife.
